Leadership Development SIG - Moving to Anti-Racist: Laying the Necessary Groundwork for Anti-Racist Selves and Organizations

What does it meant to be an anti-racist? What does it mean to be an anti-racist organization? These are just two of the questions we will explore in this session while also understanding that before we aspire to be anti-racist, there is certainly work to be done. To start with, we need to have an understanding of race and racism. And - we need to be able to ask questions about behaviors, actions, and more.

In addition to understanding anti-racism, this space is where we will examine our own beliefs and biases and to start to get an idea of what we are bringing into the  workplace. The hope is that you would leave this session with a better idea of the work you need to do individually and with your organizations to move towards being anti-racist.
