The Association for Talent Development (ATD) is a professional membership organization supporting those who develop the knowledge and skills of employees in organizations around the world. The association was previously known as the American Society for Training & Development (ASTD).

We support the talent development profession by providing trusted content in the form of 
research, books, webcasts, events, and education programs. We host a variety of conferences several times a year, including the premier international gathering for talent development practitioners.

The Professionals Collaborative (TPC)

​The Vermont Chapter of the American Society for Training and Development is a member organization of The Professionals Collaborative (TPC).  TPC is comprised of these national & international professional organizations with chapters operating in Vermont.  These organizations share common goals of member networking, education, and development of the professional expertise of their members.  Many offer professional certifications that further develop skills and knowledge, as well as add credentials to the resume! Each year, TPC hosts a networking event that all member organizations participate in.

Northeast Regional Alliance

Our mission as a region is to work together to bring the best professional resources to Talent Development professionals in the New England Area. From the annual conference to monthly learning events, the New England ATD Community is here for you.
