How did you first get into the learning and development world? My journey in learning and development started as a manufacturing operator. I was selected to train new hires within the company. What is the must-have book or resource sitting on your desk right now? Radical Candor: Be a Kick-Ass Boss Without Losing Your Humanity, by Kim Scott
How did you get involved with VT Chapter ATD? I joined the online ATD site for resources and ideas. A few months later I received an email to attend a VT ATD mixer. I was so impressed by everyone I met that I requested to join the board!
Where can we find you when you're not working? I love watching a good movie with my partner Gordon. I also have a very spoiled Scottish Terrier, Roark, who keeps me busy.
Please share your favorite VT ATD moment. I attended a SIG which taught me about applying appreciative inquiry with teams. We did a great exercise of re-framing a problem. I'm going to use this in my job!
